We are very psyched to announce that Mike Doyle and Sasha DiGiulian made the second and third asent of Sonnie Trotter’s ‘War Hammer (5.14;20 pitches) yesterday in Canmore, AB.
The route climbs the four pitch 5.11+ ‘Moat’ (5.11+), then ‘Castles in the Sky’ 5.14 (5-6 pitches), finishing with ‘Eisenhower Tower’ (7-10 pitches), totalliong approx. 20 pitches. Sash was first to send the crux pitch on Castles in the Sky (5.14a) followed by Mike Doyle. The pair then made their way to the top of the wall, finishing the excursion at 9pm.
