Recent News ‘Graham McGrenere‎ sends Division Bell (5.13d)’

We are pleased to announce that Graham McGrenere‎ sent Division Bell (5.13d) yesterday in Chek Canyon. Graham had been trying the rig a number of times through this year and last year and was very psyched to send. Congratulations!

While we are posting news, we should also mention a few notable sends over the past few weeks. Amanda Berezowski, from Nanaimo, BC sent Sharma’s Link (v10) which also happens to be her first v10. Amanda has always been on the scene but she really upped her game this year with sends of Globetrotters (5.13c), Fast Cat (5.13c) and a recent ascent Moment of Silence (5.13c).

In town, Patrick Humphries finally made an ascent (4th) of Wicked Deeds (v11?). Pat had cleaned the problem a number of years ago only to have the first ascent go to another. This thing is hard!

I've been working hard to find my way back. This piece of rock provided some much needed motivation. Wicked Deeds, a stunning line with some unique movement and a high intimidation factor. We should also report that Miles Adamson made a first ascent of Nightmare (v13), which is a low start to the problem The Wing in the Sheriff’s Badge area.
