New Topo for Rock of Ages in Cheakamus Canyon | Development News
Special thanks to Jack Fieldhouse for releasing the topo for Rock of Ages, a new crag in Cheakamus Canyon.
Directions
Walk up to the Electric Avenue crag in Chek, then take the trail to the left of the route “Kye’s Stairway To Seven”, up through the hydro line clearing. Follow the trail up for 10 minutes to enjoy some of the most uniquely featured rock in Squamish.
This crag was created in part by the donations to the Sea To Sky Route Development Fund. If you enjoy new routes please make a donation to the fund and support the route developers who work hard establishing them.

Camping Bylaw up for Second and Third Reading this Weeks Council Meeting | Recent News
The proposed camping bylaw for the camping within district boundaries is back on the books for the council meeting that will take place this Tuesday, July 16th 6pm. Over the past four week, the district has been in contact with a number of players, including the Vehicle Residents of Squamish group that has been advocating on behalf of those individuals living in their vans.

Rock Fall Reported on Stawamus Chief | Recent News
Numerous rock fall has been reported off the Stawamus Chief over the past 48 hours and includes ‘just below the Calling, somewhere above the astro ledge, left of Alaska highway’ as well as two large blocks ‘the size of a car were witnessed falling off Zodiac Wall. About two pitches off the ground near Northern Lights’
