Local News: Ben Harnden sends Family Man (5.14) in Skaha, BC
We are pleased to announce that Ben Harnden is back in Canada from a six month trip to the USA and sent Family Man (5.14) today while visiting his folks in the Okanagan! Ben began trying the rig around the same time last year and had to figure out a number of changes to the beta in order to send. Fingers crossed, we will have photos of Ben sending as soon as we can!

CASBC Update: Skaha Gate Open and Fundraiser for Park Watch

Sean McColl wins the 2016 Climbing Works International Festival
The Climbing Works International Festival took place this weekend. The well attended comp drew big names such as Jimmy Webb, Jan Hojer, Jorg Verhoeven, Rustam Gelmanov and Sean McColl in the men’s and Leah Crane, Shawna Coxsey, Melissa Le Neve, and Petra Klingler in the women’s. Sean McColl and Shawna Coxsey came away with the win’s.

Tour De Bloc 13: Final Results
The final results for the Tour De Bloc 13 are in! That wraps this years bouldering season in both Canadian competition circuits. Special thanks to all those who helped us out this year with getting results, especially Gavin Johnson, Kaleb Thomas, and Michelle Yalowega.

Tour De Bloc 13 Championships Update
The Tour De Bloc is taking place this weekend at the Bloc Shop in in Montreal, QC Information for this event is not easy to find and it is unclear whether there will be a live stream for the finals, which will run tomorrow afternoon at 4:15 pm Montreal time.
