We are very psyched to announce that Evan Hau has sent Adam Ondra’s Sacrifice (5.15a) at the Colosseum in Canmore, AB. In doing so Evan has become the first Canadian climber to climb 5.15a (again!). Congratulations Evan! All that hard work paid off!

Access Issue for Kootenay Boulders; Proposed Expansion of Gun Range
The Kootenay Boulders are having an access issue that threatens Arrow Lake Bouldering and needs your help!
The Castlegar Wildlife Association wants to expand their tenure for their shooting range on Rialto Creek Rd. (if you’ve climbed there you know the one). It would have a major impact on access and likely make some of the climbing be unsafe and unusable.
Please follow the links here: https://comment.nrs.gov.bc.ca/applications… to access all the relevant information and to submit a comment in the application process that ends on June 21st, 2020. We have also attached a map of the proposed area.
You can also follow this link to the West Kootenay Bouldering website that has been set up with more information on the matter. Thanks so much!
