We are pleased to announce that Tony Mclane and Jeremy Smith have made the first ascent of Free Weed (5.12b).
The variation starts on the first three pitches of Freeway and then makes its way to Cannabis Wal, followed by three new pitches (details below) and thenlinks back up with Freeway for pitches 8 and 9.

Pitch 4 5.11 Freeway – traverse right to cannabis below

Pitch 5 5.12 Cannabis Wall 4 bolts, runners. thin gear. #1BD useful after runout traverse.
Pitch 6 5.11 7 bolts – single rack to .75
Pitch 7 5.10d thin gear, runners 3 bolts. (shared finish with freeway traverse pitch)
