I have no idea what this guy is saying but I really like this concept for training. Similar to ring training but perhaps the shoulder width length of the bar requires more core stability?
A Profile of Ned Feehally by UKC
The British climbing scene has always been one of admiration from this side of the globe. A rich history and unique characters make it well worth a look. UKClimbing.com released the following film this friday and not really knowing who Ned Feehally was I didn’t take a look until just now. I always appreciate a story of a local climber and their accomplishments. If that doesn’t grab your fancy, at least skip to 11.25 to hear Ned chat about the origins of the Beastmaker and share a little footage of how they make them. The Beastmaker has slowly become the hang board of choice over the past few years and those who have purchased one from overseas have said they are well worth the price. Now where can I find myself some beechwood?

Peixe Porco (9a) in Sagres, Portugal
This small clip features Leopoldo Faria completing a two year project, Peixe Porco (9a), in Sagres, Portugal. Crisp clear footage with nothing but the sound of waves during the ascent. Really enjoyed this one.
Kyle Berkompas and The Dawn Wall
Media about the Dawn Wall has been rampant on the web the past few weeks. Most have featured Tommy and Kevin battling with each pitch and working their way to the top. Behind the scenes of this famous ascent is a large team of people, from those behind the lens to the team of volunteers who went and cleaned up the wall this week. This video post features Kyle Berkompas. For those of you who do not know Kyle Berkompas, he is the man behind the new film Exposure II and works for Sparkshop Creative located in Boulder, CO. If you are interested in what it takes to film such an event, this is an interview you certianly don’t want to miss.
