Chikane in Siurana with Danilo Pereyra (8c+)
With climbing photos of Spain floating all over the place, I thought I would post the first video I ever saw of the Siurana. This video features the route Chikane (8c or 8c+) that was recently completed by Jonathan Siegrist. Both the quality and the storytelling are worth a watch!
Strength Training on Pull-up Bar
This video is pretty well done and features a full workout on a round pull-up bar. Perfect for those with a finger injury or someone just looking to improve their strength.
Project Fear featuring Dave Macleod
This is a must watch for any Dave Macleod fan!
“In the summer of 2014 Dave MacLeod set his sights on opening a hard new route on Cima Ovest in the Italian Dolomites. A bold objective for anyone at any time. For Dave though, this project brought with it some of the greatest challenges he has ever faced.

For those who haven’t heard of Domen Skofic, he is a young professional climber from Slovenia. Last year, he had two fourth place finishes during the World Cup season and recently sent Papichulo (9a+) in Spain and Underground (9a) in Arco.
Domen was one of the athletes who was a part of the IFSC Climbing Camp in February and Squamish Climbing Magazine will be featuring him in a few upcoming videos. During his trip, Domen had the opportunity to visit Squamish and try Dreamcatcher (9a). He was quick to make a number of links and, when talking to Domen about the route, he said he will be sure to come back for the send. Here are two videos of Domen on his most recent sends.
TBT: Living the life, Spanish style!
It’s TBT here at Squamish Climbing Magazine! It’s also been raining in Squamish for way too many days in a row. I don’t know who else out there wishes they were travelling somewhere sunny, with their best buds, having fun, goofing around and climbing hard, but I sure do. This three part series from a couple years back really captures the spirit of trips like that. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did:
