British climber Shauna Coxsey’s iron grip has seen her demolish the competition to become 2017 IFSC Bouldering World Cup Champion, power up 8b+ outside, join the Red Bull Team, become a BMC ambassador and – incredibly – be awarded an MBE for services to crushing.

But what happens when the queen of British bouldering is faced with a brutal gritstone crack? We teamed her up with Wide Boy Pete Whittaker to find out…

Outdoor Research and Petzl present the Louder Than Eleven film “Storm Giant” featuring Gordon McArthur and his battle with the world’s hardest mixed climb. Join Gord and his partner Noah as they spend 2 years developing, working, training, and establishing what could be the most difficult mixed climb ever completed. 80 meters of horizontal roof climbing make this monster of a cave outside of Fernie, British Columbia one of the most impressive first ascents out there.

Thanks to the team at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, REEL ROCK 12 will be premiering tonight (November 7th, 2017) at the RIO in Vancouver, BC. REEL ROCK 12: Review

Since we first saw the trailer for this years REEL ROCK 12, we have been waiting in anticipation to see the footage of American climber Margo Hayes completing the world’s first (and second) female ascent of 5.15a. For those who have been around long enough, this where it all started with Chris Sharma making the first ascent of the route Biographie (formerly Realization) to the smooth sounds of reggae music wearing the 5.10 Anasazi.
