Video ‘Two Nineteen Forty Four – Timelapse of Speed Record on the Nose’

On a cold, misty morning in late October 2017, after 11 previous attempts, Brad Gobright and Jim Reynolds broke the standing speed record on The Nose (formerly held by Alex Honnold and Hans Florine) with an unbelievable new time of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 44 seconds. Watching this as it happened was one of the more incredible spectacles I’ve ever witnessed; an amazing display of superhuman mastery unlike anything I’ve seen before.

Development News ‘Updated Bouldering Guide for Arrow Lakes in Robson, BC’

Special thanks to Allen James Rollin for the updated bouldering Guide for Arrow Lakes in Robson, BC. From the pictures that we have seen, this place looks like a great destination for early summer!

Developing a bouldering area takes many hands and especially when the folks surrounding that area want to keep it well kept and enjoyable for everyone. This guide would not be possible without the help of Nic Williams, Andrew Osnach, Jeremy Childs, Jarrad Monger, Ben Cox, Greg Mooney & Brian Hansen. It is those dedicated in a community that are keeping the dream alive in the West Kootenays!
