In September of 2017, Jimmy Webb pulled up his Southern roots and moved to California. What ensued was a rampage of first ascents and fast repeats of some of the best and hardest climbs in Northern California. In Part One, Jimmy climbs some of the hardest boulder problems in Tuolumne Meadows in a weekend, then cruises down to Yosemite Valley and flashes three classic V10s.

We are excited to announce that Andrew Funk has made an ascent of Squaminator (v12), marking his first of the grade. Andrew made quick work of this powerful line having spent only one other day on the problem. “(I) had to fight so much harder on this thing than any other climb I’ve ever done,” said Andrew about Squaminator, “this was a big jump for me! Very stoked to have put this down.”

The Deep Water Solo Comp returns to Tuck Fest with a $15,000 cash purse up for grabs on the world’s first Deep Water Solo climbing complex, located at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The fastest climber to the top of the wall will advance in each head-to-head round until a #TuckFest Deep Water Solo champion is crowned. Women’s Finals will be going down at 5:30 pm EST, and Men’s Finals will follow soon after at 7:30 pm EST.
