We are pleased to announce that both Jason Holowach (13) of Saskatoon, Sk and Alannah Yip (15) of North Vancouver, BC have made the semi-final round @ IFSC Climbing Worldcup (B) – Hachioji (JPN) 2018.

Described as classic thin technical face climbing, Tom Wright has put up a new route on Pet Wall in Murrin Park named ‘Chocolate Kisses (5.13a/b). The climb starts to the left of Rocket and has it’s own bolt line that follows up the wall via ‘Off the Couch. Nice one Tom!

We are pleased to report that the CEC has announced the 2018 Canadian National Youth Team.

Roland Hemetzberger is the ultimate dark horse. At 27 years old, the German crusher has quietly climbed some of the world’s stoutest routes, including the third ascent of Europe’s hardest multi-pitch, WOGÜ (5.14b).
