Success!! A couple days ago the cool air rolled through Squamish and I was able to satch up ‘Dreamcatcher’ 9A. I’ve had many goals throughout my climbing but this route has always stood out to me among the rest. Huge props to @chris_sharma for establishing one of the most aesthetic lines you’ll ever see. Recent News ‘Evan Hau completes Neanderthal (5.14b) at Christie Falls, BC’
We are very pleased to announce that visiting Calgary-based climber Evan Hau has completed one of the lines envisioned by Adam Tutte at Christie Falls. The mega line, Neanderthal (5.14a) climbs the steep face of the falls through a series of very difficult overhanging sequences.

Development News ‘Tulip Falls Crag in Arrow Lake, BC

A beautiful and scenic crag located above Arrow Lake, Tulip Falls is an amazing place to climb. The rock is made of a rounded type of Gneiss that offers lots of interesting movement and holds and even the elusive ‘Gneiss Tufa’. There is not a lot in the easier grades here but if you climb 5.10d-5.11d then this place is perfect. There is a waterfall, lots of camping nearby and a beautiful beach just below the parking area that also add to the lure of this awesome spot, go check it out

District Releases New Camping Guide for Squamish
Last week, the District of Squamish released a New Camping Guide for visitors. The document has been met with both positive and negative reactions but nonetheless, it is here to stay. The experience of people living in vehicles, whether for economic or lifestyle reasons, has been a difficult situation for a number of mountain towns as they come to grips with more visitors along with housing and rental prices that seem to divide people on economic lines.
