We are pleased to announce that Amanda Berezowski has made an ascent of A Stressful Day At The Office aka ASDATO (5.14c) marking the hardest ascent of a Canadian Women and completing the process of working the route over the last year.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose~ Getting as close as I could to this feeling of being FREE mentally is EXACTLY what I had to do in order to finish this route. Trying something that I view currently as being at my limit has been extremely demanding both physically & mentally. Which in turn has taken me on a wild journey & made me face so much within myself. This is a bigger achievement in my perspective than a grade. Starting at 1 pm Eastern, is the 2018 La Sportiva Legends Only featuring Chris Sharma, Alex Megos Jongwon Chon, Jernej Kruder, Alex Rubtsov and Rei Sugimoto.

We are pleased to announce that Miles Adamson has potentially climbed the first ascent of Rootin Tootin Cowboy Shootin (V13) in Red Rocks, NV.

The line, #98 in the First Creek area is listed as a highball with no other first ascents to be found online. Looks amazing!

Rootin Tootin Cowboy Shootin – V13. This is climb 98 in the First Creek area. It is listed as a highball project so this is probably a first ascent! I couldn't find any online content from Nalle or others on the climb. The sequence is strangely similar to the crux of Disbelief at Acephale. I've been training this exact move for months. Lock off to a high left handed gaston, then do a move that makes no sense. I stabbed to another gaston up high with only my thumb, and mashed my pointer finger in it once I stuck it. Getting the foot up was also brutal. The top out from there is still about V6. While I think it's one of the hardest boulders I've done, I also sent it really fast. So I'm not sure about the V13 grade but I think it's right. Video @k_i_l_l_a_b_e_e

The 2018 November Sessions hosted by Climb Base 5 in Coquitlam, BC took place this weekend.

With the route setting team, led by Simon Parton, nailing the differentiation between climbers, spectators were able to see the strength of each climber in the finals. On the women’s side, Mika Hosoi beat out the field taking first while Ethan Hoffman took first in the Men’s Open category. Great to see Maria Celkova back in the mix as well as Matthew Wellington, both of who have struggled with injury over the past few years!
