Great turn out yesterday at the Squamish Bouldering Co-op Competition! The new format of three different heats worked well and was much less crowded than last year. Larger turn out that last year, with 75+ people showing up for the competition and even more for the after-party. Thanks to all those who organized the competition. What a great event for climbing community.

The results of the competition are a wash but here they are anyways.

Competition this Weekend in Squamish

coop-2

Some important information regarding the Squamish Bouldering Cooperative competition and membership drive this weekend.

Due to the insane number of people that were in the Co-Op at one time we are limiting each round to 25 people, if you come for the 12 O’clock round and there is already 25 people in the gym at that time you will be put on a list to join the 2 or 4 O’clock round.
his year we will be having 3 distinct “heats”.
The times for these heats are

12pm to 2pm
2pm to 4pm
4pm to 6pm

We suggest you come early to guarantee a space to climb!

We understand that this will likely inconvenience some people, but it has been decided that having too many people in the gym at one time is not worth the insurance risk to the Co-Op. If anything, this gives you an excuse to go out and support some of the great local businesses we have in Squamish!

Bring some cash to buy a sweet t-shirt and don’t miss the after party!
