New First Ascent from Nate Woods in the Valley

This video features Nate Woods from the Lower Mainland doing the first ascent at Elbow Lake. According to Marco, this problem is similar to No Troblems but with 30+ ft of climbing. Nate added a hard sit start to an old classic, Suspension of Disbelief V10. Not sure of the new rating but it definitely V10+. Filmed and edited by Marco Lefebvre.

A poor warm up schedule can lead to an early pump, a negative performance, and even injury. Here is what Sean and Domen had to say about their warm up during competition. Ground Up Climbing reveals Membership Prices

Ground Up climbing just released a limited Membership drive to help with their fundraising event scheduled on April 10th at the Squamish Academy of Music starting at 630pm. This event will be full of fun activities including the unveiling of the wall plans for the gym.

Rock and Rope This Weekend in Maple Ridge, BC

This weekend, the Rock Wall in Maple Ridge will be hosting The Rock and Rope Difficulty and Speed competition sanctioned by Sport Climbing BC. The event will take place on Saturday starting at 9am and the finals for the open category will take place at 5:45 pm for all spectators.
