The Climbing Works International Festival took place this weekend. The well attended comp drew big names such as Jimmy Webb, Jan Hojer, Jorg Verhoeven, Rustam Gelmanov and Sean McColl in the men’s and Leah Crane, Shawna Coxsey, Melissa Le Neve, and Petra Klingler in the women’s. Sean McColl and Shawna Coxsey came away with the win’s.

Check out this cool drone footage of Magnus Mitbø climbing Selection Analogica (9a+) at Oliana in Spain. What an amazing cave! Apparently the fence and tarp is related to temporary archaeological work being done in the area.

The final results for the Tour De Bloc 13 are in! That wraps this years bouldering season in both Canadian competition circuits. Special thanks to all those who helped us out this year with getting results, especially Gavin Johnson, Kaleb Thomas, and Michelle Yalowega.

Two Sharma flicks in the same week. This one featuring Chris Sharma, Dave Graham, Daniel Woods, Kleman Becan and Matty Hong in Oliana.

The Grohman Boulders are located in Nelson, BC and is currently Nelson’s main bouldering area. It has been developed and re-cleaned by a number of people since the 90’s (a little mossier here) but features super clean coast-like granite right on the river 5 minutes from town. Big surge in popularity lately and nothing has ever been properly documented until now.
