Video of the first ascent of the boulder “Upgrade U” in the Frankenjura. This project was found around 20 years ago and various climbers in the Frankenjura have attempted it.

BC Hydro will be doing blasting for the rest of July near the bottom of the Petgill Lake trail (used for access to Splitzville). Please exercise extreme caution in the area. Right now it is still possible to use the trail but there may be closures, so respect any signage in the area and let us know if there are issues.
