The 2015 Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is back! Starting today (Thursday, November 12th, 2015) and running until Sunday. The VIMFF Fall series features three nights: Snow Show, Rock Show, and Nepal: Before and After.
The Rock Show takes place Friday night and will feature Will Stanhope as he talks about Bugaboo Dreams, a four year project to free climb the Tom Egan Memorial Route on Snowpatch Spire with his partner, Matt Segal. Check out our interview with Will from earlier this week here.

The night will also include two films. The first film is the North American premiere of the ORBAYU by Mathieu Rivoire, featuring the Swiss rock queen Nina Caprez, with Cedric Lachat, sending one of the hardest big wall climbs in the world. For those looking for a trailer of the film, see below.
This film will be followed by an encore presentation of Paul Diffley’s Redemption, telling the controversial story of one of Britain’s James Pearson as he tackles the world of hard grit. See our review of the film here.
These nights are selling out fast! To purchase tickets for Friday nights show at Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver, please visit the VIMFF website. Doors open at 630pm and the show will start at 730pm.
