A number of strong locals have been making the most of the fall sending temps. Mat Pouliot has been quietly ticking off many hard boulders including ascents of The Egg (v11), The Practitioner (v11) in Leavenworth, and a number of v10’s, including two Squamish classics, King Swing Low (v10) and Velcro (v10).

Dan Beland continues to impress while climbing in the Red River Gorge, with ascents of Omaha Beach (5.14a) and Thug Life (5.13d).

We are also pleased to announce that Kelly Franz redpointed his first 5.13c this weekend in Skaha with an ascent of Tale of Two Guys (5.13c). Kelly chose to do the variation which climbs in from the left, skipping the opening boulder problem. Also in Skaha, Tom Wright made a quick ascent of Pressure Test (5.13c) after working it throughout the long weekend.
