This morning there is a barrage of big trucks at the lower parking lot of the Stawamus Chief. It looks like the whole parking lot has been taken over by a film crew and the ‘old highway’ trail was roped off. The BC Parks website does not indicate any closures or public statements about the filming. According to a few sources, the film crew does not seem to be staying on the paths designated for walking. UPDATE: According to a few sources, the film crew is shoot for a movie called “The Shack” and have set up around Easy Chair, Animal Magnetism area, and potentially ATD. It was also reported that one climber who went to the area this morning was told that the area was closed today near the Cacodemon area and turned away.
