Elan Jonas McRae sends Sacrifice (5.15a) in Canmore, AB

We are pleased to announce that Elan Jonas McRae has sent Sacrifice (5.15a), making him the second Canadian to climb the grade after local Evan Hau completed the route earlier this year.

I sent sacrifice 5.15a today! So excited to redeem myself after injuring my knee on it last year. I couldn’t have done it if not for my amazing girlfriend @jessiclimbs coming up with me consistently and supporting me along the whole process. It was also amazing to have @bobspatterson belay me on the send.
