This past weekend, the Calgary Climbing Centre played host to the 2019 Alberta Open Bouldering Provincials. With a stacked group of motivated athletes, the competition was fierce!
On the Women’s side, power house Alyssa Weber was the only Women to make three tops, placing her on the top of the podium, closely followed by Eva Thompson. On the Men’s side, it all came down to attempts on bonus, as both first place, Loic Fujinaga and Josh Muller had two tops and 4 bonuses each, coming down to tries.
We are looking forward to these competitors moving into the 2019 CEC Open Boulder Nationals on March 2nd and 3rd, hosted by Bolder Climbing Community in
Calgary, AB.
