This weekend, Vail, CO will host the only North American stop on the 2016 IFSC Bouldering World Cup circuit. The action in Vail is always a great time for the home crowd, as there are plenty of Canadian athletes making the trek down to Colorado.
Qualifier action starts Friday, June 10th, 2016. Semi-finals and finals will take place on Saturday, June 11th, 2016.
On the Women’s side, we have a number of fantastic Canadian competitors including Elise Sethna, Alannah Yip, Allison Vest, Stacey Weldon, Pia Graham, and Lia Wiekowski. Look for Elise, Alannah, and Stacey, all of who have made semi-finals to give the other competitors a run for their money!
On the Men’s side, Sean McColl will lead the charge along with Eric Sethna, Jason Holowach, Will Johnson, Andre Difelice, Gavin Johnson, Scott Williams, and Martin Stranik. Watch out for Jason Holowach, who had a 7th place finish last year at this event.
